We are celebrating the start of Winter in true Brokeman's fashion. With a run and a beer. And good cheer! ;)
This run will be starting and ending at LAND GRANT BREWING! The race will kick off at 6:00 pm sharp! We will then run along the sidewalks and loop a 1.25 mile downtown course. You may loop the course as much as you would like within our 1 hour time frame. THIS IS NOT A CLOSED COURSE EVENT. WE WILL BE USING THE SIDEWALKS AND ALL RULES OF THE ROAD APPLY TO RUNNERS.
But wait! There's a spin to this one.
We will be collecting clothing along the way!
Huh?
We are encouraging you to load up your running outfit as much as you would like. Load on the hats, the coats, the sweat pants, the scarves, the gloves (doesn't need to be running gear). Then we will have stations along the loop for you to shed these items and put in our donations bins. You may donate as much as you would like (as long as you stay within legal Ohio clothing standards) and you will receive a raffel ticket at each station. You may donate as many items at each station, but you will only recieve one ticket at each. You will only receive a raffel ticket if you donate an item at the station as well. The amount of stations will be determined by the amount of volunteers we have to man them.
Then return back to the bar when you are done looping, and your first beer is on us!
We will be working with a local shelter to donate all of the items too. The clothing doesn't need to be new, but we ask that it is in good condition, clean, and warm.
Then once the run is over we will be hosting a raffle back at the bar! Lots of Brokeman's clothing items to give away as well as race entries! We will be working with other local companies to give away some other great items just in time for Christmas

This run will NOT be timed.

This run is UP TO one hour, you may run the loop 1x or as many times you would like within 1 hour.

PARKING
From Land Grant Brewing's Website:
We have an onsite parking lot located on the western side of our building. Additionally, on-street parking is available along Rich, Town, State, McDowell and Lucas Streets. We ask that you please do not park in the gravel lot across the street from us as that is reserved for Strongwater, its event space, and 400 W. Rich.
